authorization_pending means keep polling at the given interval. slow_down means keep polling but add 5 seconds to the interval. Any other error code means stop.
Poll at the interval from the device response, add 5 seconds on every slow_down, stop on access_denied or expired_token.

Your poll loop must stop on access_denied and expired_token, and never poll faster than interval.
