Situation

An agent runs pip install in a non-interactive session.

Symptom

The command waits for input.

Cause

pip prompts for input unless prompting is disabled with --no-input or the PIP_NO_INPUT environment variable.

Fix

Pass --no-input (or set PIP_NO_INPUT) for pip in automation.

Snippet

pip install --no-input PACKAGE

Verify

The command ends without waiting. Check the exit code with echo $?.
